Oreos are a sugary cookie snack that consist of two small circle shaped chocolate biscuits with cream sandwiched inside of it. They are marketed by Nabisco under their brand. The outer face of each face are imprinted with a special geometric pattern and the words "OREO" in the center.
The Oreo brand was created by the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) in 1912. The name Oreo was first trademarked on March 14, 1912. The original design featured a wreath around the edge of the cookie and in United States on March 6, 1912 in groceries in New Jersey.
